Nicäa - blicke nach innen

Schloss Bruck präsentiert mit blicke nach innen. Nicäa eine hochkarätige Ausstellung von Werken der zeitgenössischen Kunst, die spirituelle Erfahrungen zum Inhalt haben. Die Schau entfaltet dabei vielfältige Bezüge von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart. So wird beispielsweise untersucht, wie sich geistige Aspekte versinnbildlichen lassen, sei es ikonographisch oder sprachlich, figurativ oder abstrakt.  Durch die Abfolge der Arbeiten soll außerdem sichtbar gemacht werden, wie eine geistige Gemeinschaft entsteht und wie das Verhältnis des Kollektivs zum Einzelnen ist und umgekehrt.

The exhibition blicke nach innen. Nicäa [Introspective Views. Nicaea] at Schloss Bruck is a stellar compilation of works of contemporary art that explore spiritual experiences. It features all manner of references, from Antiquity to the present day, examining for instance how spiritual aspects have been rendered symbolically, whether through iconography or language, figuration or abstraction. The sequence of works on show is designed to highlight how a spiritual community emerges and the nature of the relationship between the collective and the individual, and vice versa.

Castel Bruck presenta sguardi interiori. Nicea, un’esposizione di alto livello di opere d’arte contemporanea incentrate sulle esperienze spirituali. La mostra propone molteplici riferimenti che spaziano dall’antichità ai giorni nostri, esaminando, ad esempio, le diverse possibilità della traduzione degli aspetti spirituali sul piano iconografico o linguistico, figurativo o astratto. La sequenza delle opere ha lo scopo di rendere visibili le modalità di sviluppo di una comunità spirituale e l’interrelazione tra la collettività e il singolo individuo.
